It’s easy to love those who love us back. But what about those who treat us badly? Who think differently than we do? How do we respond to them? Be awakened to the love of Jesus Christ. He can make all things new.
Prayer was, is, and will remain the foundation of who we are as individuals and as a ministry. When we made our first trip to Kenya in 2011, we knew we couldn’t go halfway around the world alone without prayer support.
Marwa is one miracle of many, as he was tormented and bound by demons. Forced and controlled beyond his will. By Marwa, accepting the Lord Jesus in his life, the demon manifested, but could not stay! The following year he greeted Bishop Bruce as his spiritual father and is now testifying to others. He is now leading a Bible Study in the prison with the Bible given to him by Awaken the Nations. God is good.
Agnes was suffering from arthritis, high blood pressure and chest problems. Bishop prayed for her. The woman reported back that God healed her chest congestion and the issue of high blood pressure which was a health threat to her life. She is now a happy woman.
Seeing Mama Maria worshiping the Lord in the crusade is joyous. A faithful member of Awaken the Nations Ministry, she would walk long distances with help from her grandchildren. After prayer and faithful-believing, Mama Maria no longer needs her grandchildren’s assistance, as she received her eyesight and can see!
Zedikah healed of sickle-cell anemia. Every week, for two years the parents had to take him to the clinic for blood transfusion. During the Awaken the Nation revivals in Kenya by Bishop Bruce, the child followed other Christians for 20 kilometers where the revival was being held. Every time people were called to be prayed for; he was the first to appear. The boy is happy and healed and his parents are celebrating the great miracle because there is no more blood transmission nor attending clinic.
Beatrice was completely stooped over and at her wits end when Mum Joy and the ministry team went by her house. They did not know that day she had told her husband, “no more medicine, no more doctors, if Jesus wants to take me, I am ready.” She gladly received prayer that day and that evening she was upright dancing, praising, giving testimony and glory to God! She still has her healing today.
Sin separates us from the Lord. But Jesus Christ died on the cross and paid the ultimate price to bring us back into harmony with God. Isaiah 1:18 says, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
God’s children around the world survive evil every day and don’t have a safe place to worship. Bruce and Joy Clegg, with your help, bring the Lord’s Word to those in need, and help build secure places of worship.
Bruce and Joy have been blessed to experience God’s miracles in the most unwelcoming circumstances. Let us share those stories with your group or church and worship with your congregation. Together let’s awaken the body of Christ to awaken the world to Christ!
